Take a look around - from our restaurant and bar to the light-filled conservatory, alpine-style garden lodge, and expansive beer garden with a sunny patio, there’s something for everyone.

The Restaurant

The heart of The Harrow at Bishopstone. The Restaurant is located within the original 19th century building. Recently renovated to an exceptionally high standard, the Restaurant combines modern comforts with classic features like a cosy log burner, stone floors, exposed brick walls, and oak beams. The Restaurant offers an elegant but relaxed environment for that perfect lunch or dinner with friends and family. In the summer months, the Restaurant is air conditioned to ensure a comfortably cool dining experience. Dogs are welcome in the bar area.

The Lodge

Our oak-framed, alpine-inspired lodge is the centrepiece of the garden. It’s a great location for covered, outdoor dining. It’s also the home of our regular quiz nights, our live music Saturday sessions, and is popular for Sunday lunch. Well behaved dogs are welcome.

With its own dedicated bar and kitchen, it’s also ideal for large groups and celebrations. The lodge is available for exclusive use so if you’re planning an event for more than 30 guests, then please visit our ‘Large Group Bookings’ page for more details.

The Conservatory

With its sliding glass wall panels, retractable roof and heaters for those chillier evenings, our stunning Conservatory is the perfect dining spot whatever the weather! The Conservatory is an extension of the main restaurant and our full à la carte menu is available every day for lunch and dinner.

The Conservatory is very popular so please make sure you select the correct area when making a reservation.

The Patio & Garden

Our patio and garden offer a relaxed, sun-soaked setting in a truly idyllic village setting. With picnic benches on the lawn and parasol-covered tables on the patio, it’s the perfect spot for drinks, dining, or unwinding. Just order from the bar and we’ll bring your food to the table.

Our garden and patio tables are not available to book, so perfect if you’re after a last minute spot of lunch or rounding off a walk with your pooch in tow.

And yes, our furry, four-legged friends are very welcome. We even have an exclusive dog-friendly menu, which includes doggy snacks, and more substantial meals such as “roast dinner'“ and “fish and chips” 🐾
