How do I make a reservation?
In most cases and for groups of up to 9 guests, please make a reservation online via our dedicated ‘Book a Table’ page.
For group bookings of 10 to 29 guests, please visit our message via our ‘Contact’ page or call the team on 01296 748478. For bookings of this size we will require a £10 deposit per person and you will need to order food from our à la carte menu, in advance of your visit.
If you are planning a large event or celebration, involving 30 to 70 guests, then please visit our ‘Large Group Bookings’ page for further information. For bookings of this size we offer a selection of hot and cold buffet options to suit a range of budgets and, as of February 2024, we’re offering a premium banqueting menu for those most special of occasions - such as weddings.
Do you offer exclusive use of the venue or areas within the venue?
We have a number of different areas that we can offer for exclusive use, subject to certain terms and conditions, which may include a minimum spend. Are you dog friendly?
Absolutely, our four-legged friends are always welcome. Dogs are allowed in the bar, lodge and garden - plus we have plenty of treats, water bowls and comfy blankets to make sure their visit is as memorable as yours. We even have an exclusive dog-friendly menu, which includes doggy snacks, and more substantial meals such as “roast dinner'“ and “fish and chips” 🐾
Are you a pub or a restaurant?
We’re both! While we do offer exceptional food, great drinks and warm hospitality, we do so in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. The Harrow at Bishopstone is a place where everyone is welcome. Is the Harrow at Bishopstone accessible?
The Harrow has been carefully designed to ensure all of our indoor and outdoor dining spaces, and toilet facilities are fully accessible via step-free routes. We also have a dedicated accessible toilet which is suitable for wheelchair users and others. If you would like any further information or if you require any adjustments to be made, such as extra space around your table, then please get in touch using our contact form.
What times do you serve food?
On Wednesday through to Friday, you can book a table for lunch between 12pm and 2.15pm, and dinner from 6pm until 8.45pm. On Saturdays, we serve food all day from 12pm until 8.30pm. On Sundays you can book a table from 12pm to 5.30pm. The Harrow At Bishopstone is open for drinks 12pm to 11pm on Wednesday through to Saturday, and from 12pm to 8pm on Sundays. We also offer a small but perfectly formed all day bar menu of sandwiches, small plates and snacks.
Can we eat in the garden?
Of course! We have lots of garden tables situated on the grass and parasol covered tables on our patio, but we do not take orders from your table, so you will need a table number before ordering your food and drink at the bar. However, if you would prefer full table service, then we have a number of “ covered”outdoor dining options, which include tables in our alpine-inspired garden lodge and the conservatory (retractable roof and glass panel walls).
